Better Deals From Stellantis Are Coming

Here’s What That Means for You

For the past couple of years, Stellantis (the company behind Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler) has been all over the place with pricing, discounts, and deals. One month, a car would have a big rebate, and the next month—boom, gone. Customers were confused, dealers were frustrated, and sales took a nosedive.

Now, Stellantis says they’re done with the chaos. U.S. sales chief Jeff Kommor told dealers at the NADA Show in New Orleans that 2025 is all about consistency. That means sticking to a price, keeping incentives steady, and making sure customers and dealerships aren’t left guessing.

More Deals, More Ads, and a “Comeback” Plan

Stellantis is rolling out more discounts (finally!) and bringing back serious marketing dollars. They're pumping up their regional advertising budget to pre-pandemic levels and even running Jeep and Ram commercials during the Super Bowl. That’s a big deal because both brands have been struggling to keep up in the U.S. market.

Dealer Ralph Mahalak, who owns multiple Stellantis dealerships, says he’s already seeing the difference. Instead of cutting off year-end deals in January like usual, Stellantis actually kept some discounts going. "It was just a damn pleasant surprise," Mahalak said.

What’s Next? More Choices, Better Prices

Stellantis knows they lost market share, and now they’re fighting to win customers back. They’re making a big push to offer more powertrain options, better quality, and smarter advertising. Even though EV demand is cooling off, they’re launching the Dodge Charger Daytona EV and the Jeep Wagoneer S soon, while delaying their all-electric Ram truck until 2026.

For dealerships, the biggest change is that Stellantis is ending the frustrating “rebate shell game.” Before, they’d put discounts on one set of cars one month, then switch it up the next, leaving dealers stuck with overpriced inventory. Now, the goal is stable pricing so dealers can confidently order cars without getting burned.

Dealers Are Hyped—Will It Work?

At the NADA Show, Stellantis execs even apologized for the mess of 2024 (when their U.S. sales dropped 15%), and dealers actually gave them multiple standing ovations. Mahalak said he left the meeting fired up and even told his stores to start hiring more salespeople, expecting a huge rebound in the coming months.

Stellantis is betting big that they can turn things around and bring sales back to their 2019 levels. Whether they actually pull it off is still up in the air, but at least now they have a plan.
